Caetano and Gil waited for the third time for the witnesses to appear, which again was frustrated. Caetano was indignant:
“First the charge was singing the national anthem in the Abelardo Figueiredo nightclub, in Rio. Then, it wasn’t Rio, but João Pessoa. Then it wasn’t the anthem after all, it was sending money to the guerillas in Paraguay… This isn’t right. If someone is going to accuse me of something, they should decide and tell me to my face.”
